The HKU Summer Institute (HKUSI) is a prestigious program that welcomes secondary, undergraduate, and postgraduate students from around the globe to explore their academic interests and discover potential career paths. The institute offers uniquely designed courses and activities to help participants gain valuable knowledge and skills while immersing themselves in the vibrant campus life at HKU.

During the program, Li Shing Yuk from class 5A participated in the programme "Innovations in Developing the Racing Car," which applied the knowledge of Mathematics and Engineering. The course covered key topics such as Simulation Calculation, Engineering and Design, Science & Technology and its Application, and Practical Hands-on Exercise for Engineering, focusing on a racing car project.

Throughout the program, Li demonstrated exceptional dedication and creativity, applying his mathematical knowledge to develop a logical mindset for engineering projects.His hard work and collaboration with his teammates were recognized with two prestigious awards.

Li and his team were honored with the "Best Team Presentation Team" award, showcasing their outstanding communication skills and ability to effectively convey their ideas. This award highlights the importance of teamwork and the power of collective effort in achieving success.

In addition to this team achievement, Li 's individual performance was also acknowledged with a merit award. This recognition underscores his personal growth, academic prowess, and ability to excel in a challenging and dynamic learning environment.
